Welcome to Strawberry Vale Ceramics.

I'm Shaye, a ceramic artist based in Shawnigan Lake, BC. I specialize in crafting handmade keepsakes & teaching wheel throwing lessons from my lakeside studio.

There's something quietly satisfying about making something with your hands. Clay has a way of slowing you down, and I've never gotten tired of that.The best pieces aren't the most perfect ones. They're the ones that become sentimental - that you reach for without thinking, or can't quite bring yourself to give away.

Community is at the heart of what I do. Alongside creating pieces myself, I open my home studio to offer 1:1 pottery lessons in the Cowichan Valley, inviting others to experience working with clay and connecting through creativity.
